BJP government will fall after June 1 voting, claims Abhishek Banerjee
Following the circulation of viral photos showing BJP MP Khagen Murmu kissing a woman on the cheeks during a campaign event in Sihipur village, Chanchal, West Bengal, the woman in question responded to the widespread criticism. Describing the gesture as an "act of affection," she maintained that there was "nothing wrong" with Murmu's actions, dismissing the controversy surrounding the incident.
In response to the incident, West Bengal's ruling party Trinamool Congress (TMC) condemned Murmu's actions, accusing him of inappropriate behavior during a campaign livestream. TMC criticized BJP's alleged tolerance of anti-women politicians and raised concerns about their potential actions if elected to power. However, the woman defended Murmu's gesture, questioning the criticism and stating that it was merely an expression of affection from a person of her father's age.
If you cannot believe what you just saw, let us clarify. Yes, this is BJP MP & Maldaha Uttar candidate @khagen_murmu kissing a woman on his own accord on his campaign trail.
